I am a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Navy for four years as a Operational Intelligence Specialist.
Spent 20 years in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii running two restaurants, Don Drysdale’s Club 53 and Drysdale’s Two. I retired in 1997 and returned to California and play golf at the Diamond Bar Golf course.
I have so much leisure time on my hands and I am so unhappy about the direction our country is going, I decided to start this website.
I grew up in a Democratic home, my father was President of the Machinist Local 1186 in Los Angeles, Calif., so my family were all Democrats. But that was when the Democratic party was the party of the working man and very patriotic. Not so anymore. So I am now a Republican.
I hope I can turn some of you Democrats around and see the light and have some fun at the same time. Comments are welcome.
